Over the years I’ve been grateful to have worked in beautiful day spas and salons across QLD, NSW and VIC. Lots of exciting past experiences in the beauty industry were the years working for the Hyatt on the Sunshine Coast and in Melbourne.
Although exciting and fast passed, nothing compares to starting my own business from scratch. The pride I put into my work, the dedication I put into supporting my clients and the legacy I hope to leave behind working as Allure Spa. I hope I make my daughter proud and that she learns from me that she can do whatever she sets her mind to.
Allure Spa’s interior has been inspired by my visits to the Mediterranean Region as well as Bali and the Maldives. Inspiration also flows from my desire to go on an African Safari, just like my parents did when I was a child. The interior also respects the 70’s from when the house was built, you will see this with its quirkiness and colours.
My home is my sanctuary, and this is where Allure Spa is located. The first level of my home is your private oasis where you can be yourself and feel rejuvenated.
My passion is Corneotherapy - a therapeutic approach to skincare, focusing on repairing the stratum corneum/skin barrier for optimal skin heath.
Corneotherapy was something I didn’t know existed, but I was seeking to find it as no product or brand aligned with me and my passion for skin barrier repair. Brands pushed the idea that they were healing our barriers (and they gave the illusion of doing that) but their ingredients and supported treatments did not.
Through my skin needling training, I was luckily introduced to Corneotherapeutic skincare by my educator Lia Trebilcock and I have never looked back.
Now that I have done my advanced skin education extensively in skin anatomy and corneotherapy, I want to educate my beautiful clients and followers.
We should no longer turn a blind eye to harmful ingredients or treatments for short-term gain.
Your skin deserves respect as it is the largest organ of your body and at Allure Spa respect is what you will receive.
